Anita Borgaes began her real estate career in the late 1990’s, using seller financing and lease-option strategies to build her buy-and-hold portfolio, and flipped hundreds of houses and small plexes. After obtaining her license during the 2008-2009 downturn, she expanded into brokerage and founded Wine Country Properities, where she has built a thriving team and helped investors acquire and grow their portfolios. Today, she owns and operates a successful portfolio of vacation and fully furnished mid-term rentals in Oregon Wine Country.
Ben Nelson is a real estate agent and investor-focused professional, bringing an investor mindset to every transaction. Starting small with a “home-only” manufactured home flip over a decade ago, Ben has been involved in projects and strategies including fix-and-flip, buy-and-hold, new development, and more. As co-facilitator of the Investor Lab – Deal Analysis meetings, Ben collaborates with both new and seasoned investors to break down deals and share practical insights, helping investors know where to look for and how to create opportunity. He also serves as a TV host for the national lifestyle show The American Dream, where he highlights local businesses, communities, and real estate opportunities, using the platform to share what makes our local area and communities unique and special.
